We then decided to got to two middle schools around our area and will most likely be attending KHS (which is very well known for it's engineering program) and promote our team, our AP and honors classes, our sports teams and clubs, but mainly ask them if they would like to have a career in the STEM field that they should really consider the academy and clubs such as ours to be creative and expand their opportunities. Both schools asked us to come back next year and do the same for the upcoming freshmen. We presented to over 400 8th graders.

We then got to planning and promoting small events such as our Self love event which a couple of people showed up to and our movie for Women's month "League of Our Own"
We did our workshops by inviting the 8th grade girls from Los Amigos to come to our library (which our team remodeled two years ago for the school) and participate in multiple events; building a catapult, making and attempting to make a propeller plane out of rubber bands and Popsicle sticks fly the highest, quickly try to create a picture only using geometric shapes, and a quick algebra worksheet scavenger hunt. At the end we asked the teachers to send them a survey we made in order for us to get feed back from the 50 girls that came and participated.

This was our data from the survey
1.) Did you have fun with us today? [100% said yes]
2.) Did you learn something new? [95.7% said yes]
3.) Would you consider coming back if we had another similar event? [100% said yes]
4.) Would you recommend to your friends to come to one of our events? [100% said yes]
